Monroe County offers high quality electrical service.  We are lucky to have 4 very highly technical and efficient electrical companies that serve parts of our County. 
 

• Xcel Energy serves a large part of the County.

• Alliant Energy and Oakdale Electric Cooperative serve the eastern side of the County.  

• Vernon Electric Cooperative serves the southwestern section of the County. 

• The Village of Cashton has their own municipal electric utility.

All of these companies have programs specifically set up for business relocation, expansion and growth. 

Natural gas service is offered throughout Monroe County by WE Energies.  Wisconsin Energy Corporation’s mission includes a commitment to enhance the quality of life in the areas it serves. Their commitment includes compatibility of our operations with the environment. 

Cashton is served by Midwest Natural Gas, Inc.

Telecommunications is the backbone of every business & industry.  Their successes and efficiencies are based on quality telecommunication.  In Monroe County, there are 6 companies that you can work with for our telecommunications, Internet and Broadband needs.  

• LYNXX offers Gigabit services in all our business parks in the County along with servicing the eastern side of the  County.  

• CenturyLink &  Charter serve the entire county. 

• Viasat is a satellite telecommunications resource throughout the County.

• Mediacom & Vernon Communications serve the southern area of the County.
